Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the SC-Riber application and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access our services.

2. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Notification of changes will be provided through email or application updates. Continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance.

3. Access to the Service

We reserve the right to withdraw, suspend, or amend our service, and any material we provide, without prior notice or liability. We are not liable if our service is unavailable for any reason.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our services:

• For unlawful purposes or activities.
• To distribute malware or harmful software.
• To infringe on intellectual property rights.
• To engage in harassment, fraud, or other abusive behavior.

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of SC-Riber and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without notice, for any violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

SC-Riber and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss or service interruptions.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union (EU), including GDPR compliance, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Your data may be processed outside of your country of residence, including in countries that may not have the same data protection laws.

9. Data Retention

We retain your email address and account creation date for up to 1 year after account deletion to prevent abuse of free usage rights. Other data is deleted promptly after account closure.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SC-Riber and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your violation of these Terms.

11. Notification of Changes

We will notify you of any significant changes to these Terms via email or within the application. Your continued use after such changes will be considered as acceptance.

12. User Content

Any content you upload or share through the service remains your property. By uploading content, you grant SC-Riber a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce and process that content in order to operate and provide the service, and — for products that offer a model-improvement setting, unless you have disabled it — to use that content and your corrections to evaluate, develop and improve the accuracy of that product's artificial intelligence features. This license ends with respect to future use when you delete the content or your account.

13. Disclaimer

SC-Riber is not responsible for damages caused by incorrect information provided by the AI or third-party services used within the application.

14. Subscriptions and Payments

Access to SC-Riber services is provided according to your chosen subscription plan. The following terms apply to subscriptions:

• Subscriptions automatically renew and continue until canceled.
• Pricing and payment terms are specified on the subscription purchase page.
• Subscription fees are collected in advance and no refunds are provided for partial periods.
• When your subscription is cancelled or expires, all remaining usage rights will be reset and your access to premium features will be terminated.
• Your subscription cancellation remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• The ability to switch between subscription plans may be offered, in which case special terms apply.
